When training with, or visiting, the Club, please abide by the Code of Conduct.

Training groups

Sword Play (school years 4–6)
Sword Skills (school years 7–9)
Open team (school year 10–adult)

2026 training sessions

Monday night training
7.00–8.30pm
Bouting and individual lessons for intermediate to experienced fencers.
Open team (school year 10 to adult)

Thursday night training
6.30–7.30pm
Bouting and skills training with group lessons for all levels of experience.
Sword Play (school years 4–6). Runs during school term only.

7.30–9.00pm
Bouting and skills training with group lessons for all levels of experience.
Sword Skills (school years 7–9) and Open team (school year 10 to adult). Runs during school term only.

Training is weekly throughout the year, except on public holidays.

MFC's club tournament is normally run in three rounds, but for 2026 we will only run one -
Saturday 19 Sep

We will additionally run a fun Christmas themed Teams comp on Saturday 28 Nov.
